Time to pollinate a few crape myrtle flowers.... It has been a few years since the last ones so why bother you might ask... Good question....the answer.....because they are there, I can do it and as we say "this time for sure" its gonna be good.....
I have become a big crape fan over thepast few years. Varieties I'm growing are Dynamite, Pink Velour, Catawba, Sioux, plus several others that Have no names. In addition, I have about a dozen bushes I've grown from (self pollination) seeds. Now I'd like to do specific crosses. I could use some help about how to do that while preventing self-pollination. Any help along these lines would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ronn Nadeau, randknadeau@yahoo.com
