Post Fay Weekend..........

It was a great weekend because we did not flood, not that there is too much of chance of that happening. Anyway, with mosaicmom's help we got the grass mowed, carport washed out, cat and birds fed, driveway cleaned and some roof repair on the mosaic studio. Everything really looks good.... Then there was the golf cart repair (more below) and Z shop repair. Have you ever had 50 cans of nuts and bolts filled with rain water? I can't imagine how horrible it is for the poor people with houses filled with water. But I got the cans dumped and drainage holes drilled and then sprayed them down with WD-40. So I got motivated and filled the dumpster with Z shop trash - man it really needs a cleaning - especially with 2 out of 3 roofs missing. Thank God the project car was totally primed a couple of weeks ago. Speaking of cars the Sentra would not start due to old battery. Then little mindescape showed up and saved the day since we couldn't drive the truck due to bad wiper blades. She hauled me to get a new battery and we were saved. Next day I took truck to get wiper blades. So for now all 3 vehicles are working. Golf cart forward and reverse level shorted out so we had to take it apart and get a new one. The key was marking the wires and taking digital photos (see below). The part will be in tomorrow and hopefully the cart will be up and running this week. It is a real workhorse at our house.

Golf cart wires marked and photographed (below) before repair started.....this is one of the bests uses for digital cameras. There is no way I would remember how to put things back......
The bad piece has been extracted (below) and a new part ordered.....
