Seeds coming on the Aglaonema...........

We are getting some decent seed set on the aglaonema stock this year......
I am going to focus on using the 3-4 superior lines we have to generate the next generation of hybrids.....That should be exciting.....

We are trying to develop a new label for our plants once they get to market....Oh boy.... that can be frustrating......since our first attempt was shot down by the bureaucracy......but we are making progess......no wonder PR is not my hobby.....

Below is one of the Aglaonema we use in breeding.

The hectic beginning to TC class is over and we have settled in. There are 21 students and a few onlookers. It just takes a lot of time. At least the students have appearred to be interested and enthusiastic.

But I will always be more comfortable with plants than teaching. So back to plants it is. Below is a white Barleria - they are budding up now in the lanscapes since the nights are longer.

Tour Over....Now it is Class Time......

The tour went pretty good..........
Now it is on to the tissue culture class starting next Wed....
Get to spend the weekend chewing on that......
Keeps the mind young I guess.......
Fishing?????? What is that.........????? Grrrrr.........

Oh well it is almost fall and Barleria are starting to bud up......YEAH.....

Big Tour at Work Today.....Here is a sneak preview...

Big 100+ people tour today. I get to give the same presentation 6 times. YEAH me. A special big YEAH and THANKS to Mosaicmon and little Mindescape whose art is contibuting to the novelty of my tour stop.
There are lots of plants to show I know how to fertilize them ---------- and the visitors------ I hope. It is not fun but I will have a nice happy evening once this is over. Then I can get ready to teach next week..........grrrrrrrrr.....

Eating plants from Epcot 2007 would be great but now it is time for flowers. Ornamentals do rule in my book after all is blabbed.
