Getting tired of fighting real plants and plant related issues so maybe it is time to focus back on the exciting world of plant sculpture. Especially since the temperatures are beginning to fall this fall.  Posted by Picasa

Speaking of Aglaonema - here are some of the plants used as breeding stock. Posted by Picasa

A Quiet Day Today.........????

The past 2 weeks have be hectic at work.....

My big tour came late yesterday rather than tomorrow so it is over.......YEAH...
I got to see many of the new Aglaonema hybrids from Thailand and Indonesia....My visitors even gave me a book with colored pictures = AWESOME.....They credited my research on flower induction and pollination methods as the basis for all the breeding that has been done over there. They are real plant lovers. If I liked to travel it would be a great trip. But, they are going to send me some prime Aglaonema breeding material. You know --- there are good things about tours..........

Today is quiet. The crew is off to the local trade show for the day.........

So I have a peaceful quiet day to catch up on paperwork.......

Only problem is, I hate paperwork.....There must be somewhere I need to go just to blow this opportunity.......

Maybe I will pollinate some Aglaonema...........

Two levels of plants -- doubles our pleasure and doubles the work. New cultivars are worth it though. Posted by Picasa

Got the baskets hanging today. Now we are really looking like a greenhouse. Posted by Picasa

Today's hit song ----- Oh My Achy Breaky Cart.......

While my golf cart at home is working pretty well, the same cannot be said for the one at work. Another broken axil. At least we had good teamwork to get it to the shop. Just another tool to do without for awhile. There will be no garbage hauling on our other cart. I gotta get me one of the hats though. Posted by Picasa

The 'Z' Cart...........

Thanks to my buddy Mel I now have a golf cart to travel to and from the Z shop. That is a good deal since we keep our tools in two different places. No time to write now as it is off I go............

The 'Z' cart may be our next restoration project -- if they can ever get me off of it.

Some more landscape plants at work. These make a nice soft texture. Kind of makes you sleepy - or else that is the cake I had for lunch. Posted by Picasa
