Went Surf Fishing............
Finally went Friday the 13th....nice day.....weather was a 10 and water was an 8.........but fishing was a 5........pretty slow but did manage 10 whiting, 2 pomps, 2 skate and 6 bluefish......had some for dinner.......high tide at 10:30.......pretty full moon.....tides not very big.....fishing should get better.......the DEEP DIGGER sand flea rake was the key.....able to get plenty of fleas......frozen shrimp worked as well........long casts using fish finder rig was key during low tide.....now that I think of it 20 fish used to be a good day........I guess my standards are higher now......must try again soon.............
