August is tough for me but these aroids seem to enjoy it. The research house is starting to get overgrown. Posted by Picasa

I will never fix that door.

Snuck off before lunchtime today to deliver some important papers to little Mindescape at her place of employment. Much to my dismay her car was not in the parking lot and she was not in the store. Instantly the WCS (worst case senerio) CD starts playing because she said last night that she would be there. I finally went to my car and called but she did not answer her ringing phone. This was not good.

Reluctantly I headed back to work in a rather worried state of mind. Within a half mile I spied a little sentra pulling out of a Wendy's parking lot. This car had several dings in the driver's door that indicated there could only be one driver (I always wondered if she kicked it every day for good luck). Yes it was Mindescape. I had already passed her by but checked the rearview mirror to see her flip a u-turn and head back to work. I did the same - on 2 wheels of course. So then she turns into a BurgerKing. I followed and pulled up beside her at the drive-in window. I was relieved and she was suprised at this Clown frantically waving beside her. Then she got real happy. She had just got back from a work seminar about 20 miles north.

We had a great laugh. Of course she got lots of hugs and a free lunch. I just love these little miracles of life. Unfortunatley for her I will never fix that door since it saved the day. Dings are a good thing.

To celebrate I took a few photos at work (see below).

I really like this one.  Posted by Picasa

Saw Some Neat Stuff Today

Looked around my research greenhouse today and saw some interesting things. Gosh we really have a lot of things going on and a bunch of plants to care for. Of course that is really a good thing. I will add several photos over the next few days for you to study.

This is not good

I am still licking my wounds after nailing 40 catfish yesterday and now Mosaic Mom has lost her pineapple. Oh well, she lost her marbles a long time ago. Good thing she doesn't read my blog.

Catfish, pineapple and marbles.....they're all bad. Grrrrr!

10 Reasons to go Surf Fishing Tomorrow

I must go surf fishing tomorrow. It has been too many months. I have develped several new theories that must be tested. Reports say the August is not very good for surf fishing and most of the current reports have been fair to poor. Therefore the challenge exists. Also there are at least 10 other reasons to go.

1. Must test my new magnum sand flea catcher.
2. Must give my new chum bombs and chum plugs a test in the surf.
3. The other option is to work.
4. The other option is to plant those trees from the back of my truck(see below).
5. I have 300 lbs of gear that needs to be used.
6. The buzzards have not had any carcasses to chew lately.
7. I am still young enough to cast 100 yards.
8. Gas has not yet reached $3.00 a gallon.
9. Mosaic Mom still likes to eat fish.
10.I can, therefore I must.
