One Last Look..................Greenbean Motor

Just had to show one last photo......ready for carbs and all the other necessary stuff.....next week it is back to plants.............Maybe.........

Old motor out and new motor ready to be installed.
New motor in --- end of story except for.............ZOOM ZOOM........

Update -- so far 160 touble free miles. The 'bean runs great and it looks like the new motor is going to be a really good one once it is broken in ----- carefully and patiently I might add..........

The Greenbean......It looks like gold...........

The new motor for the greenbean is gold.....hopefully it will run like gold.........photo of motor on stand with new pistons and cam shaft ready for the valve cover............(11-23-07)......

At least the great weather we had was worth the price of gold that week.....Not good project for July or August..............

My Happy Time Off................

I had five great days off last week that included many good things.....
Mosaic Mom was great fun to be with and was always around when I needed help....Thank You..
Little Mindescape came home to visit with her boyfriend.......
She is doing fine and "HE" is a good boy and easy to be with.......
The weather was even great...........Zeus was even a good boy.............
I saw coyotes, fox squirrels and turtles...............
We got to harvest lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes...........
What more can an old guy ask for............absolutely nothing................

Oh.....btw we also put together and installed a new motor in the greenbean......
It ran all the way to work this morning...

It Doesn't Pay to Have a Heart. "aka" BAD CAT.....

It was chilly at daylight this morning and I was awake early.
Sooooo, feeling sorry for poor ZEUS the kitty kitty, I let him in the house.
Zeus was so happy to sit on couch next to me while I had coffee.
I was sure he would drift off to sleep when I slipped away to read the paper.
It was great.
I thought what a sweet guy I was – so full of kindness.
Of course ZEUS thought “Oh boy, I will explore while bozo is reading”.
MEOW – look who I found – it is Mosaicmom all sound asleep.
Why I must jump on her face to wake her so she can love me and plantdaddy.
So he did………..but Mosaicmom did not……….
I left for work early today and may stay late……….
ZEUS is a bad cat……….and I am about as smart as him……
It may be chilly tonight for Zeus and me……
Please forgive the BOYS mosaicmom……’cuz we love you………….
